Otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear" ~ Buddha How true this is! And the reverse can be said to be true too - to keep the mind in good health is a duty, otherwise we shall not be able to keep our body strong. The mind and body are intricately interconnected, so much so that studies have revealed that those with poor physical health have far higher rates of depression and those with depression have poor physical health. In fact, this research was so striking that it prompted the World Health Organization to review its global strategy for the prevention and control of disease by paying more attention to mental health and its impact on physical well-being. Through history and research, we now know that the mental health and physical health are interconnected, so how can we foster a positive relationship between the body and the mind? Well that is why we’re here today! In this eCoaching tool you will explore the mind's connection to the body and the body's connection the mind.
