As Juniper scaled, managers stepped into leadership roles without formal management training. To support continued growth, the organization needed to establish shared leadership competencies and consistent management practices that managers could apply immediately.
CHALLENGE
Differences in how managers communicated, coached, and led their teams began to surface across the organization. These inconsistencies impacted engagement, day-to-day effectiveness, and employee retention.

Juniper needed a management training program that was:

OUR APPROACH
Ama La Vida designed and delivered a five-part leadership workshop series, with 90-minute sessions focused on sustained learning and measurable impact. The program was delivered in small cohorts of 15 managers, creating space for discussion, reflection, and peer learning. Each session built on the last, allowing leaders to apply new skills between workshops and return with real experiences to refine.
The program structure included:
- An in-person kickoff to establish alignment and psychological safety
- Five interactive, 90-minute leadership workshops
- Clear, framework-driven content centered on shared leadership competencies
