Are Job Boards Really The Best?
While we don’t want to discourage you from using job boards entirely, we also want to make sure that’s not your only method of application. Why? For the simple reason that applying for a job through a standard job board is very rarely successful. We are certainly not saying that it can’t work. We are just saying that you are better off using a diverse strategy. It’s like if you were looking for the love of your life and you restricted your search to online applications. We’re not saying that won’t work (many people have found love on bumble or tinder), but why rule out bars, coffee shops, your workplace or your cute next door neighbor.

About The Program
We use a unique blend of online eCoaching and private one-on-one sessions.
First, you will spend time answering questions like this through an in-depth eCoaching module. Which jobs do you apply for? Why do you sometimes never hear back? How do you keep track of all of your applications? Are there any better ways to apply? How do you effectively leverage your network? The eCoaching module will take you step-by-step through:
- Why the standard application process isn’t always the best strategy
- How you can leverage your network and other channels to seek out jobs
- How you can keep track of all of your leads and applications
- How to effectively follow-up on applications outstanding
You have now discovered some key tips for leveraging your network, applying for jobs and tracking all of it! Remember to take any key questions you have to your Career Specialist to discuss in your 1-on-1 session.

- One thorough eCoaching module to help you research and prepare your goals
