For the past 18 years I’ve worked in corporate Human Resources, specializing in talent acquisition and development. As I progressed through my career, I became a facilitator and coach, helping develop high potentials and teaching leaders how to sustain change.
A few years ago, I took a break from HR and wrote a series of fiction books for young adults and children. I had great success, but with a flooded self-published market, I re-entered the HR arena once again. But after a year, I found myself unsatisfied and desiring more from my career. It only took a few sessions with a career coach to acknowledge my passions. With an innate desire to help people achieve their goals, my calling as a career specialist and coach was evident and that is what has brought me to Ama La Vida.
Starting my career as a recruiter, I have a solid understanding of what recruiters look for in resumes. I’m also trained in interviewing strategies and techniques, which means I can help prepare you to ace an interview. As a Career Specialist, I will work with you to help you discover your passions and land the job of your dreams!
