This is my story

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Jennifer Becherer and I help my clients get clear on what truly matters… your purpose and your “why” so you can move forward with confidence and actionable intention. Together, we’ll use a whole-person mindfulness approach that aligns your career ambitions with a deeper sense of fulfillment and direction, both professionally and personally.

After 17 years of working at Warner Bros. on some of the biggest brands in the world (most recently as the Director of Creative Advertising for brands like DC Comics (hello Batman!) and Adult Swim (hi Rick & Morty!)), I had a career most people would envy, and yet something was missing.  I wasn’t doing anything that directly helped people on a deeper level.  I craved work that felt meaningful, that made a real difference in people’s lives. That restlessness led me to a crossroads many of my clients know all too well: do I stay comfortable, or do I leap?

I chose to take the leap… strategically… which of course is never as linear as we’d like. In 2017, I earned my coaching certification from CTA and began working as a Mindful Career and Leadership Coach while still at Warner Bros.  I had a grand plan… quickly build my business, quit my day job, and ride into the sunset… However, I was awarded a promotion so decided to stay, even though I still knew deep down I was meant for more. Ultimately my ‘leap day’ happened in 2023 by way of a layoff.  It was the push I needed, and in that moment, I decided to fully invest my time into building my coaching practice. Having lived through three layoffs, I don’t just understand career transitions theoretically, I’ve felt the uncertainty, the identity shifts, impostor syndrome, and the quiet courage it takes to start over and find your spark again.  And I’m here to tell you… you WILL find it again too!

Today, I’ve helped over 400+ clients do exactly that: Get curious about their next chapter, rediscover their purpose, figure out “what they want to do when they grow up”, and build careers that feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside. I bring mindfulness and a deeply human approach to every session, meeting each client where they’re at, because real transformation isn’t just strategic, it’s personal.

People who:
  • Know something needs to change but can’t quite name what
  • Are ready to get curious about who they are and what they really want
  • Want to integrate mindfulness into how they work and live for long lasting benefits
Professionals who:
  • Have experienced a layoff and are rebuilding with intention
  • Crave more meaningful, purpose-driven work
  • Are considering a career pivot, but don’t know where to start
Leaders who:
  • Feel successful on paper, but unfulfilled inside
  • Are navigating leadership transitions or expanding their impact (wanting to be better for their teams)
  • Want to lead with more presence, clarity, and purpose

My Coaching Approach

I like to start with the ‘being’ (meaning ‘human being’) before we get into the ‘doing’. Addressing any mental/emotional turmoil helps clients excavate energy that’s holding them back whether it be limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, impostor syndrome… and once those areas have been brought to light, we can be even more effective in addressing all of the ‘doing’ and more thoughtfully and creatively approach this vital step (‘doing’ = resume, LinkedIn profile, exploration of industry/job title change, creating effective and impactful strategies that will successfully move the client forward to their next rewarding career chapter).

Our sessions will be FUN, ENLIGHTENING, and EMPOWERING. It will be a place to safely explore all career possibilities, and serve as a platform for CURIOSITY… This is your chance to create what you actually want to do next, and I’ll be there to support you as part strategic thought partner, part mindfulness guide.
